Ralston’s Drafthouse

Service: Awesome. We dined on a tuesday evening; it was practically dead inside with a 90% full patio, but I noticed our particular server was taking care of tables in both sections and she was on top of it. From experience I know that is harder than it appears! She was fairly busy, yet stopped just to ask if I was enjoying the beer that she suggested.

Booze: YES YES BEIR. And some of that wine stuff.

Sweet Potato Fries | waffle-cut sweet potatoes served with a whipped cream cheese, cinnamon, and brown sugar dip $ 6

The Black Sheep | pulled lamb smothered with chocolate bbq sauce, toasted walnuts, smoked gouda, and craisins on a flatbread with pearl cous-cous $ 10

I almost told our server to just bring out her two favorite dishes because honesty everything sounded that good. I couldn’t decide. But I managed to decide. AND EVERYTHING WAS THAT GOOD. { A small technicality: The “pulled” lamb was actually sliced… } It may not be for everyone, but creativity with food like this blows me away. I say bring on the chocolate BBQ sauce! Coconut can be a fucking sandwich topping!

Kudos: Excellent draft beers, lovely outdoor seating, and… good cheese…

Overall: Not a single complaint. From a gorgeous atmosphere to an outstanding beer selection to taste to service to music to price and beyond… A+
