Atmosphere: Modern with an industrial undertone. Delicately lit dark woods, large windows and black & white photography sculpted a very warm, inviting mood that was unexpected for a burger joint.
Service: We didn’t have the most bubbly of servers, but she was nice enough. Right as we were ordering, she exclaimed, “Whoops! Forgot my pen.” and walked away… being a server myself, I think she should have been able to recall a two person order 30 seconds after hearing it on a slow afternoon, but whatever.
Booze: HEY OH. I counted at least 10 beers I had never heard of… the list was as long as the wine and speciality cocktail menu combined. The draught selection includes, but is not limited to, seasonals from the Fountain Square, Triton, Sun King, Alpha, Flat 12, Bells, Bloomington and Weihenstephaner brewing companies, Arrogant Bastard, AND PBR! YEEHAW. I won’t even go into the bottles available. I ordered a bourbon sling because I was slightly overwhelmed by the beer options and knew I wasn’t drinking more than one. Nice and strong, topped with a maraschino cherry. Anything topped with a maraschino cherry is a-ok in my book.

Pacific Rim Burger | shrimp, bacon, swiss, pineapple, guacamole, red onion jam and sweet chili mayo $ 11… add onion rings $ 3
Bourbon Burger | bacon, peppercorn-bourbon glaze and horseradish havarti $ 10

What are you still doing here? Awesome beer and burgers, which are flavorful, thick and juicy (despite arriving more medium well than medium rare as we ordered – My ONLY complaint) and reasonably priced for the quality. The ranch dressing — AND homemade ketchup — gave my taste buds such a thrill that they only could have been delivered to earth by unicorn gods. It really complimented my perfectly crisp beer-battered onion rings. Although completely unneeded, the bread pudding was deliciously gooey with a texture more similar to cobbler which I actually prefer.
